Do you have a mentor?  Man I am a huge believer of mentors!  Paul mentored Timothy and many others in the New Testament.  First and Second Timothy are all about the mentoring relationship that Paul had with Timothy.

2 Timothy 2:2 And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.

Timothy sought Paul out.  You need to seek out your mentor.  Look for people that are within 3-4 hours driving distance of you that you can reach out to once a month.  This will take some time and intentionality.  There have been lots of times that I walked into a meeting with one of my mentors ready to pack it in and give up.  I was discouraged and depressed, and then come away walking on the clouds with permission to be what God has called me to be, to do what God has called me to stay the course!  Wisdom, encouragement, outside perspective all of that is important.  It has helped me keep my sanity to have a mentoring relationship with someone that I trusted.
